Description

The R13 Prestige, part of the R13 family, has been carefully designed with the professional clarinet player in mind and has great flexibility of tone.

Made of unstained natural grenadilla wood that is selected specially for its acoustics and aesthetic qualities, the Buffet R13 Prestige, a professional level instrument, is one of the top clarinets in the R13 bore family.

The R13 Prestige is characterised by its rich, powerful, and balanced sound, which is evident throughout all registers, this is thanks to its poly-cylindrical bore and the hand-undercutting of each tone hole.

This model features metal tenon caps which helps to reduce the risk of cracks, and a its round bell adds warmth and focus to the sound while increasing the projection across all registers.

Buffet has been producing clarinets since 1825 and are well respected within the industry. Buffet clarinets are commonplace in orchestras and ensembles across the world.

This clarinet comes with a lockable double rectangular wooden case covered in high quality leather with velvet interior and a leather handle. Inside it also has a pull through, cork grease, a sample reed, pencil and silver-plated ligature and cap.
